DRM Authority Team Receives Training on Emergency Management Software at REIMA

Knowledge is power!

A team consisting of Cleavon Nixon, Acting Head of Disaster Operations; Demetrius Kemp, Information Technology Manager; Shaloma Miller, Assistant Manager – Disaster Infrastructure and Recovery, and Tyrone Brown, Senior Operations Officer; and Taige Adderley, Assistant Director – Strategic Communications, is training with the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) in best practices for Emergency Management Software, logistics and procedures.

Conducted by REIMA Head of Operations John Washburn and Critical Information Systems Manager Alex Potts, the training will build capacity for the DRM Authority to employ powerful software that would help them effectively manage disasters from preparation to recovery.
