DRM Authority Advances Whole-of-Community Disaster Preparedness at Bahamas Nexus Event

We take a “Whole of Community” approach to disaster management, and yesterday, April 22nd, Managing Director Aarone Sargent had the opportunity to speak with two crucial segments of society: the Insurance and Real Estate Industries.
Speaking at “Bahamas Nexus: Property Risk and Insurance Structuring”, an event hosted by Colina General Insurance Agency, Managing Director Sargent discussed the importance of catastrophe planning for businesses and families with subject matter experts in the Insurance, Real Estate, and Meteorology fields. He also highlighted the proactive measures taken by the DRM Authority to ensure that all segments of society are prepared for natural disasters.
