This integrated guidance document provides both the conceptual foundation and the operational methodology for identifying and addressing the underlying disaster risk factors in The Bahamas. Developed in collaboration with the DRM Authority and aligned with the DRM Act, it combines two internationally recognised models: the Pressure and Release (PAR) model and the Forensic Investigations of Disasters (FORIN) methodology, to support risk-informed, participatory, and systemic disaster risk governance.
