DRM Welcomes UK Vice Consul

Nassau, NP, The Bahamas. 10th February, 2026. The Disaster Risk Management (DRM) Authority recently welcomed Ms. Yasmin Conroy, Vice Consul in the United Kingdom’s High Commission to Jamaica with responsibility for The Bahamas, for a courtesy call to DRM headquarters on Friday, 6th February.

Accompanied by UK Honorary Consul to the Bahamas, Ms. Rosamund Roberts, Ms. Conroy met with Executive Chairman Mr. Alex Storr, Managing Director Mr. Aarone Sargent, Assistant Managing Director Mrs. Dominique Martin, and Disaster Operations Manager Mr. Henry Moxey to familiarise herself with the roles and functions of the DRM.

DRM leadership express appreciation for Ms. Conroy’s presence, and Ms. Conroy reiterated the UK’s commitment to helping The Bahamas in times of crisis.
